The Mill River Unified Union School District is seeking a school nurse for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, be licensed as an RN, and have or be eligible for VT Agency of Education endorsement as a school nurse. A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience with school or community/family-centered nursing experience is preferred. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, emergency first aid, medication administration, creation and implementation of student health plans, as well as health counseling and education to students, families, and staff.
The ideal candidate would have excellent communication skills and be able to collaborate effectively with provider offices, health services team members, students and families, and school staff members for the purpose of care coordination.Applicants should be fluent and/or comfortable working with electronic health record systems.
