Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Production Scheduler\xe2\x80\x99s role is to establish and maintain the site\xe2\x80\x99s master production schedule, driving consistent and systematic production volume to meet customer expectations and company metrics across all products.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain an accurate rolling Master Schedule for site manufacturing in our ERP system to prioritize operations based on customer needs and operations efficiencies.- Maintain and provide valid lead time data to sales and customer service to guard against over-committing company resources.
- Participates in daily production meetings to review any re-prioritization or expedited changes to schedule requirements.
- Work with manager to ensure schedule allows for proper raw material lead-times.
- Work with Production Managers to ensure capacity settings are accurate.
- Work closely with Materials Manager, Customer Service, Sales, and Shipping Department
- Contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives related to workflow.
- Answer telephone and email inquiries and troubleshoots customer issues.
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned by the manager.
- Do all of the above in a manner that meets the company safety requirements.
