Join our Oklahoma Heart Institute team as a day shift, Full-Time Scheduler!

The Scheduler will report directly to the Front Office Supervisor and will be responsible for scheduling and canceling appointments for patients, answering and directing incoming calls, coordinating and editing provider schedules, and entering authorization number and generating referrals for office visits in the computer.
Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

Schedule and cancel patient appointments at request of physicians, referring physicians, clinical staff and patients.

Enter authorization numbers and generate new referral requests for future office visits.

Reschedule patients from the bump list.

Create and update accounts in EPIC.

Create appointment notes accurately in EPIC.

Ability to look up payment history on patient accounts.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 \xe2\x80\x93 3 years medical office experience preferred

SKILLS

Excellent written/verbal/telephone communication skills are essential, along with basic computer knowledge.
