Schedule Coordinator



Position Summary:




The Schedule Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and maintaining the daily and weekly schedules of Certified Peer Support Specialists (CPS) along with their Peers. This position is tasked with ensuring that all peer support appointments are accurately scheduled and fully optimized to accommodate flexible schedules while supporting program efficiency and service quality. The Schedule Coordinator works closely with program leadership, peers, and clinical teams to align scheduling with client needs, service goals, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:



Create, maintain, and adjust schedules for Certified Peer Support Specialists to ensure adequate coverage for all peer support services. Track attendance, session completion, and service utilization data to ensure optimal use of staff hours. Review and analyze scheduling data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improved efficiency. Ensure schedules comply with program standards and client needs. Communicate schedule changes promptly to staff, supervisors, and other departments. Collaborate with the department Director to forecast staffing needs and plan for absences or high-demand periods. Support a positive, team-oriented environment that values peer leadership and recovery principles. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA, agency, and ethical standards.

Qualifications:



Experience:



+ 2+ years of experience in scheduling, coordination, or administrative roles (preferably in behavioral health, human services, or healthcare).

Skills:



+ Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with peers and clinical staff.
+ Analytical skills to interpret scheduling and utilization data.
+ Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
