Overview:

The Senior Process Engineer provides cost analysis, cost estimating, customer satisfaction analysis, data analysis, data transformation, defect analysis, defect reduction, design for six sigma, DMAIC, evaluation, lean six sigma, metrics design, organizational assessment, organizational evaluation, performance analysis, performance evaluation, performance management, process automation, process engineering. Assumes ownership over assigned processes, work products, and deliverables.

Required Skills:

10 (Ten) experience in process engineering methodologies in numerous environments. Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems. Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable. Work is performed under general Demonstrated experience with implementation of Enterprise Business Systems including Requirements Management, Enterprise Architecture, Interface Management, Implementation, Integration, Verification & Validation, Transition, Configuration Management, Cyber Security, Cloud Hosting/Network Infrastructure, and Software Engineering with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a senior leadership engineering position. PMI certified Project Management Professional (PMP), ITIL Certified & IBM Certified Solution Expert. Experienced Quality and Audit Management specialist responsible for conducting Quality Gates, i.e. Technical Readiness Reviews (TRRs), Production Readiness Reviews (PRRs), Go/No-Go, Operational Readiness Reviews (ORRs) for each stage of the release / project with required artifacts planned, developed, written. Must have 5+ years of SAP experience. Collaborates with partners and teammates across project tasks / workstreams to understand current processes and activities then looks for opportunities to enhance and / or create more cost efficient processes and procedures

Establish and monitors Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reporting methods to support user adoption, stakeholder engagement, and effectiveness

Assesses change impacts and provides recommendations on how to best address challenges / opportunities

Support training efforts related to new/enhanced process change initiatives

- Versed in use and implementation of various process engineering technologies such as statistical analysis tools, simulation, and business process management (BPM) platforms

- Assists with identifying candidates for outsourcing and privatization while refocusing on core mission objectives

- Lead role at the task level assuring that analysis, design, and improvement tasks are conducted using the best methods and in a timely fashion.

- Familiar with Navy and/or DoD IT architectures.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Provide Process Engineer expertise to confirm/develop business requirements definition;
  • Provide configuration, data migration, interface, and functional support as necessary;
  • Develop and maintain systems documentation including business process procedures, functional design specifications, process flows, and test cases;
  • Support development of training work products and respond to trainer questions;
  • Define user authorization requirements;
  • Provide help desk support, assisting and resolving end user support problems, resolving Process Engineer defects (\'break/fix\'), analyzing proposed improvements or changes to the Navy ERP Process Engineer solution and system;
  • Prepare/conduct briefings, demos or training sessions as needed.
Preferred Skills:

*Organizational Change Management background strongly preferred

*SAP Activate experience

*Agile / SAFe / DevOps experience

*Full E2E Lifecycle management experience
