Genesis10 is currently seeking an SAP BPC Techno-Functional Analyst with our financial services client. This is a 5 month + contract hybrid remote position located in New York, NY that requires 3 days per week onsite.

Summary:

• Work within the Financial Operations Group to support SAP and other applications, reporting and processes across the Finance and Tax network.

Responsibilities:

• This role interacts with all levels of finance/tax users and provides support to SAP BPC, planning, analysis for office, disclosure management and other SAP systems.
• Design, develop and troubleshoot business rules and other BPC configurations.
• Assist with technical patches, upgrades, and system/application migrations.
• Maintain production and development system, including metadata, master data, hierarchy, user security and other monthly roll forward activities.
• Works with the business in gathering business requirements, proposing a solution, designing a solution, development, and testing.
• Develop, maintain, and improve documentation on system configurations, key business processes and procedures as well as provide training documentation and support for end users.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 3+years of related experience.
• Proficiency in Planning & Consolidation on BPC Standard and BPC Embedded.
• Proficiency in configurations and setup of BPC planning and consolidation applications.
• Experience with accounting and/or tax systems and financial services industry preferred.
• Experience in supporting Disclosure Management.
• Experience with Analysis for Office query design, modification, and user support.
• Experience in gathering business requirements, proposing a solution, designing a solution, development and testing.
• Understanding of SAP BW platform, including analysis of BW info-providers and info-objects together with the data flow between SAP S/4 and BW all HANA based.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA concepts a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and VBA.
• Excellent knowledge in Planning, Budgeting, forecasting and Consolidation business processes for better decision making.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure, be goal oriented.
• Highly motivated, solution focused with eager to develop skills rapidly in new technologies and take on greater responsibilities.

Pay rate range: $78.00 - $90.00 hourly.
