The Sanitation & Custodial Technician is responsible for performing the proper cleaning and sanitizing tasks to ensure cleanliness of the facility including but not limited to bathrooms, breakrooms, offices, common areas, entrances, assists in cleaning all areas of the facility.
Essential Job Duties:
Regular worksite attendance.
Maintains Good Manufacturing Processes
Cleans and sanitizes all bathrooms, breakrooms, common areas to proper protocols and specifications meeting food safety requirements. Including mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, sweeping, dusting, polishing and buffing.
Inspects, promotes, and maintains adherence to food safety cleanliness in the handling of product, ingredients, and finished goods using proper work procedures and compliance with Food Safety Standards
Ensures all chemical containers are correctly labeled
Understands chemical or non-chemical pest control systems
Keeps neat, accurate records of all work performed daily
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area
Follow all required work safe practices, wears all required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, etc.
Report any food safety, quality, or safety related issues to management
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, and crawl in tight spaces.
The employee must be capable of lifting/moving up to 50 lbs.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
Organized & high level of attention to detail
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Mechanically inclined
Willingness to learn, train and expand skillset
Basic computer skills
* Actively participate in all training offered within the company
