Position Summary

GR Mitchell is a trusted supplier of lumber and building materials serving contractors, remodelers, and construction professionals across Central Pennsylvania. This full-time Sales Support role works directly with our outside sales team to help maintain and grow customer relationships.

You will support the sales team by creating accurate quotes, entering customer orders, coordinating deliveries, resolving issues, and communicating with vendors to ensure materials arrive correctly and on time. As you develop market and product knowledge, you'll play a key role in helping sales identify and support new customer opportunities.

Duties & Responsibilities

Use a Windows-based PC and Epicor BisTrack ERP system to create quotes, process orders, schedule deliveries, track order status, coordinate returns/credits, and research product information Act as a resource for customer questions regarding lumber, trim, windows, doors, and other building materials (training provided) Aid in troubleshooting issues including mis-orders, product quality concerns, late shipments, and returns Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and coworkers through phone, email, and in-person interactions Coordinate closely with warehouse and yard teams to ensure accurate, timely customer deliveries and pickups Maintain a high level of accuracy in quotes, order entry, and documentation Communicate with vendors to obtain special-order pricing, confirm lead times, and address product questions Work effectively with sales reps and coworkers to support customer and project needs Occasional jobsite visits or assistance with deliveries may be required Report on-site at 14 Beaver Valley Pike, Willow Street, PA during standard business hours
