The Sales Operations & Support Manager is responsible for supporting Gerson's national field sales and inside sales teams through effective sales operations, communication, and training. This role serves as a central point of contact between sales, leadership, IT, and customers to ensure that sales programs, tools, and data are effectively deployed and aligned with company priorities. The position combines sales analytics, process ownership, communication, and hands-on support at showrooms and trade shows.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support and Communication
Serve as the frontline resource and primary point of contact for Gerson's national field sales team and headquarter-based inside sales team.
Provide ongoing, clear communication to sales teams regarding sales initiatives, promotions, inventory availability, pricing updates, and sales collateral aligned with current company priorities.
Create, organize, and present sales training materials for Gerson's national field sales and inside sales teams, including product launches, programs, and tools.
Sales Performance, Reporting, and Tools
Monitor, track, and report on sales performance against individual and companywide sales goals, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
Use Gerson's internal systems (e.g., NetSuite and related tools) to pull, analyze, and distribute sales data and reports to sales leadership and other stakeholders.
Partner with leadership to develop standard sales reports and dashboards that support decision making and accountability.
Process, Programs, and Compliance
Ensure successful implementation, adoption, and compliance with Gerson sales programs, processes, and policies across field and inside sales teams.
Act as the central coordinator for sales initiatives, ensuring that timelines, deliverables, and communication are clear and aligned across departments.
Identify opportunities to streamline sales processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Product Data
Work cross-functionally with Gerson's IT department and other internal teams to manage and maintain product data used in Gerson's selling tools, including MarketTime, the Shop Gerson website, Salsify, and related platforms.
Help ensure data integrity, timely updates, and alignment of product information across systems to support accurate quoting, ordering, and merchandising.
Customer Interaction and Experience
Communicate directly with independent retail customers as needed to help grow sales, address issues, and ensure an excellent customer experience.
Support the resolution of order, inventory, or program-related questions by coordinating with sales, customer service, and operations.
Events, Showrooms, and Administrative Support
Provide logistical and administrative sales support at Gerson's showrooms and trade shows, including preparation of materials, product information, and tools for the sales team.
Provide operational and administrative support to Gerson's national field sales and inside sales teams as needed (e.g., coordinating samples, updating collateral, tracking program participation).

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
3-5+ years of experience in sales operations, sales enablement, inside sales, or sales support, preferably in a CPG, wholesale, or B2B environment.
Strong proficiency with CRM/ERP and reporting tools (e.g., NetSuite; familiarity with MarketTime, Salsify, and eCommerce platforms is a plus).
Demonstrated ability to interpret sales data, build reports, and communicate insights clearly.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to support and influence distributed sales teams.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Customer-focused mindset and comfort interacting directly with retail customers when needed.
Reporting Structure and Level
Level: individual contributor (subject to change); exempt
Reports to: Chief Revenue Officer
May provide informal leadership to coordinators, analysts, or other support resources as the function grows.
Pay: From $68,000.00 per year
