Job Summary


The Sales Manager will oversee both the

sales team

and the

build team

, ensuring smooth coordination from customer inquiry through production. This position requires strong leadership, construction knowledge, and the ability to manage customer relationships while supporting internal teams.

You'll work closely with our design department, help create accurate quotes, and ensure customers receive exceptional service throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Responsibilities



Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet company revenue targets across multiple markets Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to drive performance, accountability, and professional growth Oversee key accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service and long-term relationship success Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities Utilize CRM tools (HubSpot) to track activities, forecast revenue, and analyze performance metrics Collaborate with marketing to create campaigns that support sales goals and brand visibility Negotiate contracts and close deals that align with company standards and customer expectations Provide leadership in technical sales by understanding product specifications and construction requirements Analyze sales data to identify improvement opportunities and implement growth strategies Manage customer relationships from initial inquiry through project completion Conduct needs assessments, present tailored solutions, and guide customers through the buying process Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and follow-up communications Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally Partner with the design team to ensure accurate project details, drawings, and timelines Coordinate with production and logistics to maintain realistic schedules and smooth project flow Communicate project updates clearly across departments Use Microsoft Office Suite at an advanced level (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) Maintain organized records, reports, and documentation Preferred: Experience with QuickBooks for estimates, invoicing, and customer accounts Support development of pricing models, sales tools, and process improvements

Skills



3+ years of management experience, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or building materials Strong understanding of residential or light commercial construction practices Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office; QuickBooks experience strongly preferred Ability to read plans, interpret building terminology, and collaborate with technical teams Proven success in outside sales and B2B environments Expertise with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms for account management and performance analysis Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing high?value deals Business development mindset with the ability to expand market share Analytical ability to interpret sales data and develop actionable strategies Leadership qualities that motivate teams and support a collaborative, high?performance culture Exceptional customer service skills that build trust and long?term relationships Clear, effective communication skills adaptable to technical and non?technical audiences

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
