Summary
The Cigna Medicare Sales Digital Lead Sr Advisor is a strategic leader responsible for driving efficient, scalable, innovative solutions for the Medicare organization. This resource is responsible for defining and delivering initiatives which improve our Medicare customer experience and contribute towards increased growth, improved retention and make it easier for our sales teams to sell on behalf of Cigna. This individual will drive digital initiatives focused on improving our digital solutions across online provider directories, Cigna.com, mycigna.com, shopping & enrollment vendors offering consumer experience. This Sr Advisor will be business owner for strategic provider initiatives, multiple vendor engagements, portfolio initiatives focused on improving consumer experience - including but not limited to migration to strategic provider solution, consumer engagements, and retention initiatives.

This individual will support the overall Medicare Growth organization, across multiple lines of business and have a direct impact on key department objectives by prioritizing initiatives, aligning solutions which support key consumer and retention strategies within the Government segment. This individual will own the overall delivery of these solutions for our Medicare lines of business.

The Sales Digital Lead Sr Advisor is responsible for coordinating with various matrix partners (e.g. Sales, Digital, Provider, Customer Experience, Retention, Enrollment, Compliance, Sales Integrity & IT) to deliver prioritized solutions which enable growth and improve our overall consumer experience for Medicare consumers. This individual will become a subject matter expert on business priorities, Salesforce & related solutions and evaluate project plans from a resource capacity, cost, efficiency, legal, and regulatory standpoint. This role will identify gaps in processes and support development and implementation of solutions. This individual will be responsible for prioritizing delivery based on business impact, compliance risk, and costs to the sales organization. This individual will perform as primary contact to matrix partners and IT teams representing the Cigna Medicare Growth team and must maintain a strong connection with leaders across a highly matrixed environment. Responsible for communicating status of digital initiatives to inform leadership as well as the organization through continuous and proactive reporting.

Achievements are largely dependent on successfully eliciting feedback across multiple constituents and working closely and effectively to deliver solutions that meet or exceed the needs of all stakeholders. This is accomplished by acquiring a deep understanding of business processes, systems and matrix partner impacts; anticipating the needs of stakeholders to proactively design value-added solutions; breaking down complex problems and scenarios into easily understood parts and communicating to stakeholders of various levels; researching advancements available in technology, designing and executing project plans per delivery expectations and timelines, prioritizing sales initiatives based on value add. This resource will build and maintain strong peer relationships with various internal matrix partners and external vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and strengthen partnerships with matrix teams (e.g. Sales, Digital, Provider, Customer Experience, Retention, Enrollment, Compliance, Sales Integrity & IT), to ensure successful identification of business and consumer pain points, requirements, impacts, priorities and value add
  • Responsible for delivering our strategic digital initiatives designed to improve our consumer experience and increase retention across Medicare programs
  • Become expert on existing tools and technical solutions in order to evaluate impacts of enhancements and provide recommendations on solutions which address business pain points and advance solutions
  • Contributes and in many cases drives scope, design and delivery of solutions for our Medicare organization
  • Prioritizes scope, manages digital initiatives & deliverables, develops detail business requirements
  • Collaborates with business SMEs to solve issues and address business gaps, and design solutions
  • Provides leadership and clear decision-making on initiatives, ensuring compliant solutions
  • Brings intellectual curiosity, questions \xe2\x80\x9cbusiness as usual\xe2\x80\x9d practices and creates awareness of where a different approach/solutions from traditional channel management is required
  • Results oriented with strong organization and planning skills; personally accountable; self-directed
  • Ability to analyze and interpret Cigna Medicare legal/policy and regulatory changes and apply them to the business to ensure both efficiency and compliance
  • Anticipates issues or roadblocks in a plan and proactively solves problems before the business is impacted
  • Prepares ongoing Executive Summary for all Salesforce Initiatives to Sales teams, portfolio, and leadership
  • Ensure collaboration with the IT teams and able to effectively represent the Medicare organization
  • Able to manage multiple projects effectively with timely responses and updates to the organization
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree \xe2\x80\x93 Business, IT, or Communications, preferred or equivalent work experience
  • At least 7 or more years of work experience
  • Medicare industry and product knowledge preferred
  • Requires experience with Salesforce solutions
  • Experience managing resources preferred
  • Strong project management skills and ability to achieve success in highly matrix environment
  • Experience with delivery and working with IT teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, and problem solving skills
  • Hands-on, results-oriented individual with a passion for accuracy and quality
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, and through ambiguity identify opportunity to create change
  • Able to quickly understand a business need, research possible solutions and offer potential improvements
  • Ability to prioritize, lead discussions and coordinate objectives among a diversified group of stakeholders
  • Possesses a strong sense of urgency and commitment towards meeting deadlines
  • Strong customer focus and works well in a team environment, building strong relationships with peers

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 99,200 - 165,300 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
