Position Overview

MBS, LLC is seeking a part-time Safety Coordinator to join our team. This is a hybrid role with a mix of remote work, in-person tasks in Anchorage/Mat-Su, and regular travel to remote Alaska communities. The Safety Coordinator will support client safety programs, conduct audits, and help deliver training under the guidance of the Safety Manager. The applicant should have basic/intermediate knowledge of Safety and Health, however we are willing to train the right person.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct workplace safety inspections and audits.

Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining safety programs.

Deliver and document employee training sessions.

Support clients in meeting OSHA and other regulatory requirements.

Prepare reports and communicate findings to clients and management.

Qualifications

Secondary education in occupational safety & health

preferred

Willingness and ability to travel.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently in a hybrid setting.

Home office setup preferred.

Willingness to learn, grow, and contribute as a team member.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
