Role Overview




The SaaS Implementation Project Manager is responsible for leading the successful end-to-end delivery of QuikStor software implementations, platform migrations, and complex onboarding initiatives.


This role serves as the execution engine within the Implementation Department, ensuring customer deployments are delivered on time, within scope, and with a high standard of quality and professionalism. You will manage dozens of concurrent client implementations, coordinate cross-functional teams, mitigate risks, and maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders and customers throughout the project lifecycle.


This is a hands-on role focused on structured delivery, accountability, and operational excellence. Success is measured by on-time implementations, customer readiness at go-live, internal alignment, and post-launch stability.

Key Responsibilities




Project Planning & Delivery

Own implementation projects from kickoff through go-live and stabilization, including new customer onboarding, software migrations, and complex configuration projects. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, task dependencies, and milestones. Manage scope, timelines, and change control to ensure predictable delivery while accommodating customer-specific needs. Ensure all implementation deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.

Cross-Functional Coordination

Act as the primary point of coordination between Implementation, Customer Success, Support, Sales, Product, and Engineering. Partner with Sales and Customer Success to understand customer expectations and contractual commitments prior to kickoff. Facilitate internal handoffs, status reviews, and implementation readiness checkpoints. Coordinate with third-party vendors and integration partners as needed.

Customer Communication & Stakeholder Management

Lead customer-facing implementation meetings, status calls, and milestone reviews. Provide clear, proactive communication regarding project status, risks, dependencies, and next steps. Set and manage customer expectations while maintaining a calm, professional, and solutions-oriented approach. Escalate risks and issues appropriately with recommended paths to resolution.

Risk Management & Issue Resolution

Identify, assess, and mitigate risks that may impact implementation timelines or outcomes. Track issues to resolution, ensuring accountability across internal teams. Anticipate downstream impacts of delays, scope changes, or data readiness issues and adjust plans accordingly.

Documentation & Process Discipline

Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting notes, and implementation records. Ensure implementation data, tasks, and milestones are accurately tracked in project management systems. Contribute to continuous improvement of implementation playbooks, templates, and SOPs.

Post-Implementation Review & Optimization

Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess delivery outcomes and capture lessons learned. Partner with Implementation, Support and Training Teams to ensure a smooth transition from implementation to ongoing support and adoption. Identify opportunities to improve implementation efficiency, consistency, and customer experience.

Required Qualifications



3 to 6+ years of project management experience, preferably within B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or technology-enabled services. Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong working knowledge of project management. Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to manage risk, dependencies, and cross-functional execution. Comfortable working with project management and collaboration tools.

Preferred Qualifications



Experience with SaaS implementations, ERP systems, or operational platforms. Exposure to self-storage property management software. PMP or other project management certification a plus. Experience working in a scaling SaaS organization with evolving processes. Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through.
