Join our dynamic team as a Rural Carrier Associate, where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our customers in rural areas. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for navigating various routes, managing deliveries, and providing top-notch customer service.

What you'll do

Drive a box truck or similar vehicle to deliver mail and packages along designated rural routes. Some routes do require delivery from a personal vehicle. Load and unload items efficiently, ensuring all deliveries are handled with care. Utilize commercial driving skills to navigate diverse terrains and road conditions safely. Perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as needed to ensure timely delivery of goods. Operate forklifts and pallet jacks when necessary to assist with loading and unloading processes. Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure all packages are accounted for during transit. Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with customers during deliveries. Adhere to all safety protocols while driving and handling packages.

Experience

Previous experience in delivery driving or courier services is highly desirable. Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus, including experience with loading docks and shipping processes. Proven ability to operate manual transmission vehicles safely and efficiently. Strong customer service skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience in heavy lifting and moving items safely is essential for this role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.90 - $30.52 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 40 per week
