PAY RANGE : $19.25 - $20.25 Hourly
AN ASICS TEAM LEADER'S PURPOSE:
In the absence of the management team, the Run Club Team Lead supervises all store personnel, including implementing and enforcing company policies, procedures, and corporate directives. Additionally, you will lead all aspects of Run Club operations, including staff, membership, events, communication, and resources.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position does not have direct report responsibilities
TEAM LEADER ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
Interacts with all levels throughout organization including employees and outside vendors
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Assist in achieving business results through leading the team, managing the sales floor and ensuring sales goals are achieved.
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers & Run Club participants, guide product selection, and respond to all inquiries or complaints. Be able to retrieve product from the backroom and/or top stock using provided equipment.
Monitor sales activities to ensure that customers and Run Club participants receive satisfactory service and quality product.
Support the Head Coach with training and evaluating employees to ensure sales goals are being met.
Educate staff on Run Club and lead team operations and staff support during Run Club events.
Examine merchandise to ensure that it is correctly priced and displayed for maximum customer experience.
Oversee the work activities of sales associate, such as cleaning and organizing product with ease to improve shopping experience.
Review inventory and sales records to prepare reports for the management team.
Instruct employees on how to handle difficult and complicated sales.
Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the club's facilities and activities.
Plan and execute club events, from regular Run Club meetups to larger race events.
Recruit new Run Club members, grow community engagement, manage member relations, and ensure a positive experience for all participants.
Manage overall services of the Run Club, including but limited to product demos, giveaways, RunKeeper app event management, required participant waivers and documentation, and participants' progress towards goals.
Analyze Run Club data (club participation, attendance, Trial Run usage, etc.) to devise a growth strategy, and regularly report this via newsletter and event recaps in partnership corporate leaders.
Interacts with all levels throughout the organization, including employees and outside vendors.

WHAT IS REQUIRED
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
2 years of retail experience; sporting or athletic industry preferred.
Computer skills: Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Be able to stand and walk around during scheduled hours, reaching for product using a ladder, stairs, step stool and pole
Able to run at least a 5k regularly
Running/coaching certification preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
