We are looking for a Maintenance Technician who can carry out repairs, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, landscaping, janitorial services, and pool maintenance for three properties located in Salem, OR. The Maintenance Technician must have amazing attention to detail, time management skills, and be comfortable managing work orders using technology. Properties: Three properties in the Salem area

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 an hour (DOE)

Workdays: Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm

Additional Compensation: $50 cellphone stipend and mileage reimbursement.

Responsibilities for the Maintenance Technician

• Reviewing punch list and completing items in a timely manner or as instructed.
• Participating in meetings and training sessions as required.
• Completing all resident maintenance/repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Utilize a P.O. system for purchases.
• Accompany all necessary building inspections and walk-throughs for owners, Management staff, brokers, appraisers, and other interested parties.
• Be available during the established on-call schedule.
• Educate other staff on maintenance principles and projects.
• Maintain and monitor interior and exterior common area cleanliness
• Cabinet and laminate installation.
• Tub surround replacement, tile work, drywall repair, and minor framing.
• Troubleshooting skills.

Requirements for the Maintenance Technician

• Apartment maintenance, turnover work, and repairs including some electrical and plumbing experience.
• Must work with residents, vendors and staff in a professional manner
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Able to work with little supervision
• Basic knowledge of Excel and Word
• Have a basic set of hand and electric tools
• Have valid driver\'s license, reliable job appropriate vehicle and insurance
