Summary
The Route Supervisor is accountable for setting an example in a manner that reflects the company's goals, vision, culture and Core Identities. The Route Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the training of technicians, contributing to customer growth, increasing company profitability, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Report directly to the Field Manager and/or Regional Manager.
Maintain all necessary licenses and certifications for the services provided by your branch in your state, and a valid driver's license.
Run routes for Field Technicians who call in sick, become injured, or abandon their route.
Pick up overflow jobs when Field Technicians fall behind.
Provide same-day service and support to VIP customers, new customers, and outlier jobs. Embrace and embody the Spidexx Core Identities. Encourage Field Technicians to do the same.
Actively learn and utilize the protocols in the Technician Handbook and ensure Field Technicians are familiar with and refer to the document.
Train new technicians on proper pest identification, treatment methods, safety procedures, and company protocols.
Lead, coach, and supervise the Lead Technician and/or Field Supervisor, where applicable.
Coach and mentor Field Technicians with a goal to improve their customer service skills, technical skills, and overall performance.
Regularly inspect completed jobs to ensure thoroughness and compliance with company standards.
Conduct Route Audits and service reviews through FieldRoutes. (10 per month)
Conduct monthly Side-by-Sides with technicians.
Monitor the proper use and mixing of pesticides and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Promote and teach safety in the workplace.
Conduct monthly Vehicle Inspections and maintain the company fleet, ensuring vehicles are in safe and prime operational conditions.
Maintain tools and equipment.
Maintain inventory levels within office standards.
Attend weekly Focus Meetings with your Manager to discuss positive trends, challenges in the branch, and potential solutions.
Requirements
Strong knowledge of pest control methods and regulations.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
