We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Field Training Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs that enhance the skills of our sales team, focusing on outside sales, business development, and account management. You will play a crucial role in driving performance through effective training strategies and ensuring that our team is equipped with the necessary tools to succeed in B2C sales environments.
Duties
Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for new and existing sales staff, focusing on outside sales techniques, territory management, and lead generation.
Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, enhancing the team's ability to upsell effectively.
Collaborate with management to identify training needs based on performance analysis and feedback.
Utilize CRM software and Salesforce to track training progress and outcomes.
Provide ongoing coaching and support to sales representatives to improve their negotiation skills and customer service capabilities.
Develop training materials that incorporate best practices in direct sales, inside sales, and retail sales strategies.
Monitor market trends in technology sales to ensure training content remains relevant and impactful.
Facilitate workshops on effective cold calling techniques and territory sales strategies.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives through assessments and feedback mechanisms.
Requirements
Proven experience in outside sales, with a strong background in B2C sales environments.
Demonstrated management experience with a focus on developing talent within a sales organization.
Familiarity with business development strategies, account management, and lead generation techniques.
Proficiency in using CRM software
Strong analytical skills to assess training needs.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences during training sessions.
