Responsibilities

At Dignity Health St. Josephs Hospital and Medical Center we deliver humankindness through a wide range of health social and support services in the heart of Phoenix Arizona. As part of our team you will provide clinical expertise support and oversight that helps ensure our patients receive exceptional care. The Medical / Surgical / Trauma ICU DEPARTMENT at Dignity Health St. Josephs Hospital and Medical Center is a dynamic environment where you can pursue a highly challenging and rewarding career. We are committed to the highest level of patient satisfaction. Serving the critical care adult population each dedicated unit consists of 8-beds and offers an exciting challenging opportunity for nurses to care for the very highest acuity patients in a 1:2 or 1:1 nurse to patient ratio. All units report to one Nurse Manager; nurses are hired specifically for each unit yet have an opportunity to cross train.

24/7 Operational hours

ACS Accredited Level 1 Trauma Center

1:1 or 1:2 Nurse Ratio

Medical Surgical Trauma ICU

Certified to perform Kidney Transplants

National Leader in the care of Pulmonary Hypertension patients

Qualifications

Minimum:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
AZ RN license
American Heart Association BLS certification
ACLS certification

Preferred:

BSN
Professional certification in area of specialty
One year recent acute care experience
Pay Range
$32.50 - $58.90 /hour
