Responsibilities

At Dignity Health St. Josephs Hospital and Medical Center we deliver humankindness through a wide range of health social and support services in the heart of Phoenix Arizona. The Medical / Surgical / Trauma ICU DEPARTMENT at Dignity Health St. Josephs Hospital and Medical Center is a dynamic environment where you can pursue a highly challenging and rewarding career. We are committed to the highest level of patient satisfaction. Serving the critical care adult population each dedicated unit consists of 8-beds and offers an exciting challenging opportunity for nurses to care for the very highest acuity patients in a 1:2 or 1:1 nurse to patient ratio. All units report to one Nurse Manager; nurses are hired specifically for each unit yet have an opportunity to cross train.

24/7 Operational hours

ACS Accredited Level 1 Trauma Center

1:1 or 1:2 Nurse Ratio

Medical Surgical Trauma ICU

Certified to perform Kidney Transplants

National Leader in the care of Pulmonary Hypertension patients

Qualifications

Minimum:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
AZ RN license
American Heart Association BLS certification
ACLS certification

Preferred:

BSN
Professional certification in area of specialty
One year recent acute care experience
Pay Range
$32.50 - $58.90 /hour
