Schedule: 7 am to 7:30 pm
Compensation: $70 \xe2\x80\x93 $75 per hr.
Location: New York, Queens, Brooklyn, Long Island, Bronx.
Hospital is seeking a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse, RN, to join its team. This position will ensure patients receive nursing care before and after surgical procedures. This role works the day shift. Benefits package available.
Highlights About the Company & Position:
- Assess the patient\xe2\x80\x99s condition and nursing needs.
- Ensure that nursing care activities are coordinated with other healthcare disciplines involved in the treatment effort.
- Administer direct care when professional nursing skills and judgment are needed.
- Administer medications.
- Practice infection control and participate in the maintenance of a clean and safe environment.
- Communicate changes in patient\xe2\x80\x99s condition and questions regarding patient care to Clinician.
- Communicate and work effectively with other staff and departments.
- Two years of the following experience is required: Critical care experience, IV Insertion, Phlebotomy skills, and Conscious sedation.
- New York State RN License
- ACLS
- BLS
- Phlebotomist
