Deliver pre- and post-anesthesia care to pediatric patients in the PACU.
Conduct comprehensive assessments and monitor vital signs for early detection of post-operative complications.
Administer medications and treatments accurately while maintaining detailed documentation.
Utilize advanced clinical judgment to respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
Educate and support patients and families throughout the perioperative process.
Safely operate and maintain life-support and monitoring equipment.
Adhere to all hospital safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including some weekends, as required.

Qualifications:
License:
Active and unrestricted
New York State RN license
(required).
Certifications:
BLS
(required);
PALS
preferred.
Experience:
Minimum
1.5-2 years of recent acute care
experience in a comparable facility.
Required:
Pediatric critical care experience.
Preferred:
PACU and Level 1 trauma center experience.
