The RF Systems Engineer will work as part of an interdisciplinary team on a wide variety of design, simulation, fabrication, and prototyping, as well as testing and data analysis tasks.



The RF Systems Engineer will support the product development team in the development, validation, and troubleshooting of leading-edge devices, modules, sub-systems, and systems used in modern wireless communications and sensing systems. Specifically, the candidate will perform system analysis, develop architectures and designs, as well as prototype and characterize RF systems.


A successful applicant will demonstrate strong interest in research and development, excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, good oral and written communication skills, and an ability to work independently hands-on in the lab creating experimental setups and conducting measurements.

Qualifications and Requirements

    • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree a plus).
    • Good working knowledge of electrical laboratory test equipment including RF test equipment, such as vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, etc.
    • Good working knowledge of RF systems design, especially front-end receiver design, and associated software tools for performing cascade analysis using simulated and measured component data.
    • Basic knowledge of data collection, processing, and analysis practices.
    • Good understanding of fundamentals of Electromagnetics, Linear Circuits, and Non-linear Circuits
    • Hands-on prototyping skills, including soldering, attaching surface-mount components, and working under a microscope.
    • Familiarity with MATLAB scripting desired but not mandatory.
    • Familiarity with modeling software such as Keysight ADS, ANSYS HFSS, or CST a plus.
    • Good organization and documentation ability. Responsible for the detailed design and schematic capture of the electronic circuits.
    • Provide support and guidance for the development of automated methods for sub-system testing.
    • US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.
