Job Description


Candidates located in the DFW metro area will be given preference. The Revenue Manager is a key position that will be responsible for maximizing and forecasting room revenue through the management of room inventory and pricing for assigned Properties. This position will be responsible for preparing highly accurate occupancy and revenue forecasts, developing and executing strategic pricing and yield management initiatives, managing critical databases, and creating/managing key reports and performance analyses. Essential Functions 1. Update and manage selling strategies and product information in all available distribution channels and reservation sources (onsite, third-party reservation providers, call centers, websites, OTA\xe2\x80\x99s, CRS, GDS, etc.). 2. Optimize RevPAR by analyzing and forecasting demand and establishing effective selling strategies, oversell strategies, and optimal market mix. 3. Partner with General Managers, Regional Managers & Sales/ Marketing Team to establish and implement strategies to increase property-specific and overall company room revenue. 4. Develop strategies by identifying opportunities for incremental revenue through analysis, and establishing differential pricing based on market segments, demand, positioning, etc. 5. Conduct ongoing competitor price and product analysis to ensure proper rate positioning and product offering relative to the competition. 6. Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly revenue management reports and present results from all segments including internet channels. 7. Conduct weekly and/or bi-weekly strategy meetings to review market share performance and upcoming pace and pricing, restrictions, projections, and channel strategies for assigned portfolios. 8. Determine, implement, monitor, and adjust (as needed) optimal stay controls. 9. Actively participate in budgeting and business planning for all revenue-generating operations. 10. Contribute to the financial success of assigned portfolio via participation in annual budgeting and sales and marketing plan process 11. Maintain historical statistical data from all distribution channels, in all market segments. 12. Continually monitor all pertinent travel-related websites to ensure competitiveness in both availability and price. 13. Contribute to the training and development of the Management Team during interactions and provide feedback on areas of opportunity identified and assist in action plan development. 14. Conduct semiannual property visits for SWOT analysis, new general manager onboarding, P&L meetings, and various special projects. 15. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Hotel Administration, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a relevant field or work preferred. 2. 2+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a Revenue Management position preferably, Extended stay. 3. Strong understanding of Extended stay hotel sales and hotel distribution sources and strategies. 4. Strong statistical and analytical skills are required to identify revenue opportunities and shortfalls. Ability to work both independently and cross functionally to achieve goals. 5. Knowledge of Extended-Stay hotel operations, including marketing plans, security and safety programs personnel and labor relations, preparation of business plans, repairs, maintenance, budget forecasting, quality assurance programs, hospitality law, and long-range planning. 6. Ability to use PMS, reservation and revenue management systems to forecast and implement optimal strategies 7. Advanced knowledge of NetRez, G3 Ideas RMS, JonasChorumPMS, SynXis, Choice Advantage, OPERA PMS, HotelKey PMS and WindSurfer is preferred. 8. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt communication style and convey information to different audiences, such as effectively communicating with Owners/ Executives, General Managers, Vendors, Property-Level staff. 9. Ability to thrive in a multitasked and fast-paced environment. 10. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Teams, Outlook, Word. 11. Must be detail oriented.
