The Opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is hiring full-time and part-time Revenue Auditors to join our team at Boston Billiard Club Casino in Nashua, New Hampshire. In this role you will audit all gaming and non-gaming revenue areas according to established procedures and gaming regulations as well as facilitate timely and accurate recordings.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the documentation obtained contains sufficient, competent, and relevant evidential matter to support the conclusions reached.
• Communicate with company personnel to ensure that all documentation is accurate and complete. Provide consultation to improve the effectiveness of controls.
• Investigate and report discrepancies determined through the audit process.
• Notify the immediate supervisor of any potential discrepancies and assist with research and resolution of problems.
• Report on the effectiveness of internal controls, audit findings, and deficiencies identified to owners and management.
• Perform follow-up on responses to audit findings. Ensure compliance with New Hampshire Lottery regulatory codes and practices.
• Maintain accurate records and files pertaining to daily audits in areas of responsibility for further review.
• Assist the operational team with observations including guest contests and giveaways.
• Additional special projects as assigned by management.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, finance, or audit degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of audit, accounting, or related experience, preferably in the gaming industry.
• Must have intermediate-level skills with Microsoft Excel/Word/Access, data input, record keeping, and Outlook.
• Must be detail-oriented, ability to manage time, as well as the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to demonstrate excellent analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Inquisitive nature.
• Must be a self-starter with strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving skills, organization, and the ability to work independently.
• Must be a team player and ability to collaborate with others. Exceptional interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to interact with personnel at various levels of management.
• Must be able to obtain a New Hampshire State Gaming License.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift and carry a minimum of 40 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand, sit, and kneel for brief periods of time.
• Weekends, Holidays, and swing shift work may be required.
