We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits Upsell products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked Handle stock replenishment and organize merchandise in designated areas Manage cashiering duties including cash handling, processing payments, and balancing registers Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly Assist with inventory management, including stocking and organizing products Support supervising staff during busy periods or when needed Maintain professional phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors

Qualifications

Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery or specialty stores Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math calculations Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus Experience with product demos, upselling, merchandising, and stock management is desirable Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations confidently Supervising experience is advantageous but not required Knowledge of grocery store operations is beneficial Excellent phone etiquette and professional appearance required Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week
