is looking for a customer-focused

Retail Sales Associate

to work in our

Elgin

store. The

Retail Sales Associate

will contribute to positive work environment and help the store with profitable growth while also supporting our store commercial sales activities and logistics.

As a sales associate you will:

Listen to customers' needs and help find solutions Complete customer transactions using Point of Sale system Test automotive electrical systems (alternator, starter, battery) and change vehicle batteries when required Be proficient in the operation of all test equipment Service watch / key fob batteries Learn to repair smartphones, tablets and other devices Learn to cut automotive keys and program replacement key fobs for vehicles Learn to operate a spot welder to rebuild battery packs or build new custom battery packs Help maintain proper inventory by stocking and facing while keeping up with store appearance by keeping it clean and uncluttered Lift product weighing 10-20 lbs on a regular and frequent basis, 21-50 lbs on an occasional basis, and more than 50 lbs on an infrequent basis. Multitask, do a bit of everything around the store and be adaptable

Qualifications:

Minimum H.S. diploma/equivalent Able to effectively manage confrontational situations in a controlled and courteous manner 1 years of retail management experience, preferably within a durable goods Strong oral and written communication skills Cash Managment Experience Must have the ability to accurately read gauges and work with hands flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business including peak seasons and special events The ability to work at other store locations up to 20 miles away from home location. Strong technical aptitude; a basic understanding of electronics. Perferred: Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record Highly Perferred: Have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
