Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will assist with merchandising, stocking, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store while also engaging in sales activities. A strong candidate will have excellent communication skills and a passion for retail.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their needs Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions accurately Engage in add on sales techniques to enhance customer purchases and offer more Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about new items and promotions Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract customers and promote products Assist in stocking shelves and managing inventory levels to ensure product availability Supervise junior staff members when required, providing guidance and support Uphold store cleanliness and safety standards at all times Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations

Experience

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus Proficiency in phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries effectively Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse clientele Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos is advantageous

Pay: $13.00 - $14.50 per hour
