Job Summary


We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with product selection, and ensuring the sales floor is well-organized and inviting. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, retail experience, and a passion for helping customers find the right products. Bilingual abilities and prior experience with supervising or product demos are a plus. This position offers an engaging environment where you can develop your sales and customer service skills while contributing to a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities



Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and sales Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked appropriately Manage stock levels through stocking, inventory checks, and merchandising standards Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly Assist in supervising store activities when needed, including overseeing junior staff or interns Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment with attention to safety standards

Skills



Proven experience with retail sales, cashiering, or grocery store operations Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively Knowledge of POS systems, retail math, and basic cash handling procedures Ability to perform upselling and suggestive selling techniques to increase sales Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos preferred Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone Supervising experience is a plus for leadership roles within the team Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining store presentation Ability to work well in a fast-paced retail environment while providing outstanding customer service

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
