  • Efficiently manage assigned retail construction projects.
  • Provide support to the field superintendent in meeting project schedules and objectives.
  • Handle financial aspects, including estimating job costs and managing project contracts.
  • Facilitate subcontractor procurement and prepare change orders as necessary.
  • Review subcontractors\' change order requests thoroughly.
  • Prepare contracts and change orders for clients.
  • Prioritize safety and risk management for field operations, subcontractors, and customers.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of contract documents, including plans, specifications, and geotechnical analysis.
  • Collaborate effectively with architects and engineers.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely updates and alignment with milestone activities.
  • Coordinate the procurement of lead-time items and the timely receipt of submittals and shop drawings.
  • Conduct meticulous reviews of shop drawings and handle Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Chair progress meetings when required and maintain meeting records.
  • Conduct site visits to verify compliance with project specifications.
  • Oversee project closeout requirements, including punch lists and warranty documentation.
  • Implement quality control guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Act as a resource for technical inquiries.
  • Perform weekly labor productivity reporting with superintendents.
  • Prepare monthly payment requests for owners and architects.
  • Approve and submit monthly payment requests for subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with project coordinators to provide ongoing support.
  • Perform on-site project management inspection reports using Procore.
  • Expedite warranty claims.
  • Prepare bids and budget estimates for projects, including self-performed work.
  • Compile bid scopes for construction management and negotiated projects.
  • Conduct constructability reviews of construction documents.
  • Utilize client project software for scheduling, punch lists, and issue tracking.
  • Fulfill any other duties as assigned.

Education:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent relevant construction experience.
  • OSHA 10 certification strongly preferred, with attainment within the first 12 months of employment required.
Experience/Knowledge:
  • Minimum of 7 years of construction experience, with a focus on project management.
  • Proficiency in reading plans and specifications.
  • Valid driver\'s license.
  • Familiarity with field practices, scheduling, building codes, and OSHA safety guidelines.
  • Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Project, Primavera p6, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
