Job Description

Camp Margaritaville Pigeon Forge is seeking a dynamic and experienced Resort Activities Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our resort's activities department. The responsibilities of this role include planning and implementing a range of engaging activities for guests, supervising the activities team, and ensuring the highest levels of guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be a creative, enthusiastic leader with a strong background in hospitality or entertainment. Candidate must be highly organized, computer knowledge and have excellent communication skills, and be able to handle various tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the resort activities department.

Develop and implement engaging activities and programs for guests of all ages.

Supervise, train and evaluate activities staff.

Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally and promptly.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Monitor and manage the activities budget.

Assess guest satisfaction and make necessary adjustments to programs.

Stay updated with trends in the hospitality and entertainment industry.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Resort Activities Supervisor or similar role in the hospitality or entertainment industry.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Strong communication, computer and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Leisure Studies or related field is preferred.

Additional Information

Job Title: Resort Activities Supervisor

Work Environment: This position requires work in a resort environment and may involve outdoor work. Some weekend, holiday, and evening work may be required.

Reporting Structure: Reports to the Resort Manager or Director of Operations.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
