Residential Specialist Job Summary: This employee will supervise, monitor and assist clients with daily programs, activities and routines, provide guidance, and maintain the living environment. This employee will ensure compliance with safe work practices and maintain safe environments in compliance with established agency standards, licensing regulations, and generally accepted practices. Residential Specialist Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintaining awareness of location and behavior of clients at all times
Management and monitoring of client\xe2\x80\x99s day to day programming
Facilitating and encouraging clients\xe2\x80\x99 consistent participation in daily routines such as wake-ups, showering, incentives, etc.
Performing a variety of service activities such as wake-ups, showering, incentives, transportation, recreational planning, and participation and administering of medications
Preparing, serving, and monitoring all meals and snacks
Assisting co-workers and clients in maintaining a clean, safe and orderly environment
Following safe work practices and maintaining safe environments in compliance with established standards, regulations, and generally accepted practices
Promptly reporting any safety or health hazards to immediate supervisor
Driving personal vehicle in certain circumstances and as directed in the performance of job duties, which may be during day light and/or after dark
Working any shift in any YSS program or facility as assigned
Regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the job
Performing other job-related duties as assigned

Ability to be a team player and work with diverse populations.
Valid Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License
Education and Experience: Requires Highschool Diploma/ G.E.D or 1-2 years of applicable experience; prefers Associate Degree in human services, social work, criminal justice, or related field; Prefers 21-years of age and above; Pay: $15.00 per hour Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $15.00 per hour Benefits:
