The Residential Siding Jobsite Foreman is responsible for day-to-day oversight of siding, windows, and gutter job installation projects on site. This role assists the Production Manager by supervising crews, coordinating materials, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining quality workmanship. The Foreman acts as the "eyes and ears" on the jobsite, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to company standards while supporting a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily activities of siding installation crews on assigned projects.
Ensure work is performed to company standards and manufacturer specifications.
Address jobsite issues as they arise and escalate larger concerns to the Production Manager.
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to installation crews.
Monitor crew productivity and adherence to safety practices.
Assist in training new crew members when needed.
Verify material deliveries match orders and are staged properly for installation.
Coordinate with the Production Manager and suppliers on shortages or damaged materials.
Maintain jobsite organization and cleanliness.
Ensure OSHA and company safety policies on site.
Conduct daily safety checks and address hazards immediately.
Ensure proper use of tools, ladders, scaffolding and equipment.
Serve as a professional representative of the company at the job site.
Answer basic customer questions and direct larger concerns to the Production Manager.
Assist with final walkthroughs, punch lists, and jobsite close-out.
Provide daily updates on jobsite progress, crew attendance, and issues to the Production Manager.
Document jobsite photos, notes, and quality checks as required.
Ensure completion of all paperwork related to jobsite activities.
Skills
2+ years of experience in siding or exterior construction (foreman/lead role preferred).
Strong knowledge of siding installation practices, tools, and safety requirements.
Ability to lead and motivate crews while maintaining accountability.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and job specifications.
Reliable transportation an valid driver's license.
