Job Description

We are searching for an experienced Project Manager in new home construction that is local to Madison Wi or the surrounding areas. If you are a self-motivated professional, team player with good communication skills that is seeking a rewarding opportunity to oversee residential construction, we are looking for you.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage the construction schedule for each home project, including informing trade partners, suppliers and subcontractors when they will be needed for their task. Manage and inspect the quality of work performed by trade partners to meet code requirements, safety regulations and company standards. Building rapport with customers and maintaining customer satisfaction throughout the building process Maintain a professional, clean and organized job site. Communicate with customers and team members in our office, on-site, by phone, email and text. Communicate weekly with customers on home status updates of the week and the following weeks schedule. Maintain job cost by review over budget items and creating CO's as needed. Deliver a finished home, on-time, to Espire standards and delivering an outstanding customer experience. Conduct customer meetings such as Pre-Construction Orientation, Walk-throughs on site, Closings and other customer meetings as needed. Maintain accurate and timely data reporting status of each home projects using company systems.
Qualifications:

Have 2+ years' experience as a project manager Ability to read construction plans, truss details, joist and beam layouts, tall wall details, grading plans, surveys, cost sheets, building material selections and other detailed documents relating to the construction of a home. Extensive knowledge of building products, construction methods, standards and industry practices. Time management skills, along with multi-tasking, prioritizing and problem solving capabilities Knowledge of local building codes including mechanical, electrical and plumbing. Handling multiple projects in a fast paced environment. Familiarity and adaptability with standard computer software
