We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Garage Door Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential garage doors and their components. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge & familiarity with tools. Hands-on experience in construction-related tasks is appreciated but not a dealbreaker if none. This position requires a commitment to safety and quality workmanship, ensuring customer satisfaction with every job.
Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain garage doors, openers, and related hardware.
Perform heavy lifting as necessary to handle garage door components.
Conduct inspections to identify issues with garage doors and recommend appropriate solutions.
Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide expert advice on garage door options.
Execute remodeling tasks related to garage door installations as needed.
Provide excellent customer service while on-site at various locations.
Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
Qualifications
Proven experience in maintenance person services or construction-related fields.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
Experience working on construction sites is ideal but not necessary.
Must be capable of performing heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites.
