Residential Construction Working Foreman/superintendent
Job Description
Mallard Homes, Inc. has a full time position for a Working Construction Superintendent with the ability to provide skills and direction to ensure a high quality finish to our single and multi-family projects. This position offers long-term employment
REQUIREMENTS:
Self-starter with 5+ years relevant experience in residential, single and/or multifamily construction preferred
2+ years in a leadership role
Understand and enforce required building code and regulatory requirements
Strong problem-solving experience and the ability to perform physical labor
Have the ability to read and understand plans and meet timelines
Must be available during regular working hours Monday through Friday with some weekend hours during times of high project activity
MUST have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
No Exception
MUST be able to complete a satisfactory drug screen, and background check (criminal and motor vehicle) Ability to operate safely and effectively jobsite equipment including but not limited to Telehandler, Skid Steer, Box Truck etc.RESPONSIBILITIES:
Read and follows plans, verbal instruction, and other guidelines while meeting timelines Complete projects by scheduling and directing employees and/or sub-contractors as necessary Responsible for safety of all project under management Maintain communications related to project with code enforcement and other regulatory officials Monitor projects by confirming instructions for carpentry, plumbing, electrical, concrete, painting, and related trades Maintain communication with supervisor regarding status of the project
$25.00-$32.50 per hour based on experience.
