With a $1,000 signing bonus. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing effective pest management solutions to residential and commercial clients. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in various environments.

Duties

Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest issues and determine appropriate treatment methods. Apply pesticides and other pest control products safely and effectively, following all regulatory guidelines. Utilize hand tools and power tools for pest control tasks, ensuring proper maintenance and care of equipment. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating with clients about pest problems, treatment options, and preventative measures. Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment plans and follow-up recommendations. Drive company vehicles to various job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members on larger projects, including lawn care and landscape management as needed. Stay updated on industry trends, pest control techniques, and safety protocols.

Requirements

Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with sales techniques to effectively communicate service benefits to clients is a plus. Ability to operate farm machinery and landscape equipment safely. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site. Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
