About the Role




The Reservations Agent serves as a key point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently managing reservations and resolving time-sensitive issues. This role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities



Answer incoming calls and emails promptly and professionally. Assist customers with new reservations, changes, cancellations, and refunds. Collect and process payments accurately. Respond quickly and effectively to timesensitive situations with a strong sense of urgency. Remain calm and composed during adverse or highpressure conditions. Resolve practical problems in situations with limited standardization. Learn and navigate computerized reservation systems to support customer inquiries and bookings. Provide effective conflict resolutions for internal and external customer concerns. Maintain strict confidentiality of customer bookings and personal information. Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining focus amid distractions. Deliver legendary customer service, ensuring decisions align with both customer satisfaction and company interests.

Required Qualifications



Excellent proficiency in English with strong verbal, written, and listening skills. High level of accuracy in data entry with strong attention to detail. Proven customer service experience. Prior airline reservations and reservation system experience preferred (Sabre, Interact, Videcom). Technologically savvy with experience using professional software systems. Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and varied hours. Basic knowledge of Alaska geography preferred. Ability to work onsite and commute reliably.
