Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for conducting audits of internal and external training programs, compliance with established training curricula, regulatory and record compliance, adherence to standard training programs and to help drive improvements in training satisfaction
  • Auditing scope includes internal United training locations and programs as well and Service Partners, Ground Handlers and United Express
  • Develops, implements and maintains audit programs to meet all quality measures and requirements
  • Prepares and delivers written and in-person de-briefs to ensure training leadership is aware of findings and corrective actions needed to meet service expectations
  • Responsible for analyzing trends in assigned locations, conducting root cause analysis and partnering with Training leadership to develop action plans designed to drive performance metrics and improve training compliance and engagement
  • Provides consultation to all leadership in the escalation of non-compliance issues, regulatory training failures as well as the identification and escalation of program gaps
  • Develops and coordinates systems and procedures that drive successful oversight of all training requirements, partners and programs
  • May provide on-site support for station transformations including: including station start-ups, closures, conversions (mainline to express or express to mainline), seasonal service, line of service transitions and terminal moves
  • Position requires up to 75% travel
  • Conducting on-site training audits to ensure quality training, regulatory compliance, and to drive improvement in training satisfaction
  • This includes in-sourced and outsourced functions, United locations as well as United Express and all partners and ground handlers
  • Training lines include but are not limited to: ATW, BTW, Station Operations, STC, Global Service, Cargo, Cabin Appearance, Lavatory Service
  • Responsible for completing audits for assigned locations and partners to ensure quality control in the delivery of training programs and curriculum
  • Conducts reviews with Training leadership following completion of audits
  • Prepares detailed written audits and executive summaries following the completion of audits
  • Responsible for reviewing policies, procedures and regulatory requirements while performing quality control support to drive training compliance
  • Participates in the refinement of audit programs for all aspects of Airport Operations Training programs Implements and maintains quality audit program requirements, processes, and reporting systems to support station accountability
  • Collaborates with the Airport Operations Planning Groups, Quality Assurance, Station Leadership and Service Partner Leadership to analyze audit data and collaborate on appropriate implementation actions
  • Attends individual training events crafted to maintain and improve subject matter expertise
  • Provides consultative services to Training leadership in the execution of training programs, compliance with established curriculum and record keeping
  • Supports leadership in the development of corrective action plans
  • Provides on-site support for station transformations including: station start-ups, closures, conversions (mainline to express or express to mainline), seasonal service, line of service transitions and terminal moves
  • Ensures core and regulatory training compliance prior to completion of projects
The salary for this position is $47,700 to $69,960, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education and skills. This range is based on a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

What\xe2\x80\x99s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
  • High School Degree
  • Minimum two years experience in Airport Operations or related background
  • Ability to analyze and produce reports
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Performance management, problem solving, decision making and innovation are key skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
  • 2 or 4 year University Degree
  • Safety and compliance audit experience
