Renovation Technician

Are you a motivated, hands-on problem solver who likes variety and takes pride in quality work? We are looking for a Renovation Technician to support our construction teams across the Valley. This field role involves physical tasks such as demolition, trenching, site cleanup, hauling, assisting skilled trades, and performing minor repairs and basic construction work.

At P. J. Hussey, you will work alongside experienced mentors who will help you grow in the trade you are most interested in. As a general contractor, we are involved in every phase of construction, so you will be exposed to multiple trades and gain real hands-on experience. Our mentorship program supports your development and gives you the opportunity to learn, train, and advance your skills while working on real projects.

If you have general skills in any of the following areas: Carpentry, Drywall Repair, Painting, Finish Work, Light Electrical, Light Plumbing, Cabinetry Installation, or General Maintenance, we want to talk to you.

Office Hours:

Monday, Wed, Friday, 8:30 AM to 5 PM
Tues, Thursday 8:30 AM to 4PM
The first Saturday of the month from 10 AM to 2 PM

Minimum Qualifications:

Valid driver's license Reliable transportation to job sites Prefer 3 years of experience in renovation, maintenance, or construction Ability to lift 50 pounds or more Must be able to perform physical labor indoors and outdoors Able to work in all weather conditions

Preferred (Not Required):

Own basic hand tools such as drills, screwdrivers, and wrenches Experience in a specific trade such as plumbing, electrical, framing, or concrete

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
