We anticipate the need for one or more Relay Assistant(s) at our Rice Street Service Center in St. Paul, Minnesota. The starting rate of pay for this position is $34.48 hourly. This position will be posted internally for 10 working days from March 30th, 2023, to April 12th, 2023.

Summary:

Work with St. Paul Relay Technicians performing their day to day work activities in substations or at locations to complete their duties. This type of work will include substation maintenance, inspections, trouble work, new construction and gas controls. Physical demands include but are not limited to lifting, carrying, climbing, handling, kneeling and reaching.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have a high school diploma.
• Must have a valid drivers license.
• Must pass a relay related test.
• Must be able to work in man holes and vaults.
• Must be capable of operating man lifts in substations safely and work in high places.

Selection criteria may include testing and/or assessment.

Special Requirements:

3. The exam will be held at the Maple Grove Service Center Auditorium on or around the week of May 22nd, 2023. Candidates will be notified of the actual testing date
