Job Summary and Qualifications

Administers Respiratory Therapy to all patients; provides diagnostic services in conformance with recognized respiratory care principles and according to the written order of the physician. Must possess knowledge of respiratory therapeutics and the correlation to diagnostic assessment.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Licensed Respiratory Therapist by the NBRC
• RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT / RCP) by the Texas Medical Board
• Associate Degree
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or CPR, or CPR for Healthcare Providers, or Heart Saver CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• 3 Years experience preferred
