A Labor & Delivery/Mother-Baby unit is seeking an experienced RN to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for obstetric patients. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care while collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and adherence to evidence-based nursing standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assess and evaluate patients, identifying needs and determining priorities for care
Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care based on ongoing assessments
Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage overall patient care
Assist physicians with procedures and support the patient throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum care
Document nursing care according to standards of practice and unit guidelines
Advocate for and support evidence-based practice and innovations in care delivery
Provide compassionate, patient-centric care consistent with professional nursing models
Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum
1+ year of experience
in a related specialty (L&D / Mother-Baby)
Strong clinical assessment and patient-management skills
