MacNeal Hospital has excellent opportunity for aregistered nurse to join the cardiac telemetry department located Berwyn, Illinois. Our team of registered nurses, patient care techs, care managers, social workers, residents, and physicians are dedicated to providing compassionate care to the diverse community we serve. Utilizing evidence-based practice and a commitment to a safe patient care environment, our telemetry nurses support care delivery to help patients transition to the next phase of care.

MacNeal nurses participate in shared governance and are active in practice-related decision making that influence their daily work. Our nurses are empowered to make meaningful changes to process and policy to positively impact patient outcomes and their work environment. Position Highlights

• The telemetry department is a 25-bed unit that routinely cares for patients with complex medical conditions. We specialize in the care of patients with angina, syncope, heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias, and pre/post-cardiac intervention. Telemetry nurses are trained in performing EKGs, interpreting cardiac rhythms, administration of IV cardiac medications, phlebotomy, and certified in ACLS
