(RBT) Registered Behavior Technician in DOE

No experience is necessary! We will train you and give you all the information and support you need to feel confident.

Malama Pono Autism Center is growing and looking to hire individuals interested in learning how to make a difference in the lives of children with autism. No experience is necessary! We provide full training to prepare you to get your Registered Behavior Technician certification. Successful candidates will have high energy, enjoy working with children, work well with a team of others, and have a consistent schedule.


In this position applicants would be working directly one on one with a child with autism in a classroom setting teaching them necessary skills to be healthy and successful.

Requirements:

Able to provide official college transcripts with at least 48 credits (3 credits in MATH 100 or up and 3 credits in ENG 100 or up) Can pass federal background screening and finger printing Some experience working with children Ability to relocate to O'ahu for training in Mililani and in the Central district once a client is assigned Must be able to attend in person training in Mililani This role requires frequent movement, including sitting on the floor, standing, bending, and responding quickly to client needs. Candidates must be able to lift or assist clients and equipment up to 50lbs, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Job Type: Part-Time (30 - 35 hours per week)
