By 2030, we strive be on the top of nursing education through constructing five new campus buildings (one on each campus), the creation of five endowed professorships, student scholarships, producing more qualified nurses, and starting Montana\xe2\x80\x99s first Certified Nurse Midwifery program. We are looking for a change leader to help manage this process for our graduate programs.
The Mark and Robyn Jones College of Nursing (MRJCON) offers a baccalaureate in nursing, accelerated baccalaureate in nursing, Master of Nursing focused on clinical leadership, and Doctor of Nursing Practice with focus in either family nurse practitioner or psych-mental health nurse practitioner. The College has five campus locations across the state, located in Billings, Bozeman, Great Falls, Kalispell, and Missoula.
The Nursing Academic Programs Recruitment and Retention Coordinator works in conjunction with the Director of Academic Programs and Evaluation and the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs to coordinate recruitment and retention efforts for undergraduate and graduate student programs, coordinate academic program projects, and provide overall day-to-day operations coordination for the academic programs team.

Duties and Responsibilities
Office of Academic Programs Operations Coordination
Direct the day-to-day operations of the MRJCON Office of Academic Programs, which may include, but not limited to providing administrative support to the academic programs team.
Coordinate communications from the Office of Academic Programs to student constituents including prospective students, pre-nursing students, and Nursing majors.
Work with the Communications Specialist in the college to coordinate news items regarding students and academic programs and regular communications with students and with faculty around academic programs.
Provide support to the Nursing Graduate and Undergraduate Program Managers during peak times and on targeted projects.
Arrange and support meetings for the academic programs\xe2\x80\x99 office.

Coordinate Recruitment and Retention Efforts
Triage incoming and outgoing communication efforts, meet with students, greet walk-ins (faculty, students, parents, etc), schedule or direct concerns to correct college personnel, open, screen, and respond to college correspondence.
Meet with prospective students and families.
Manage and update the College\xe2\x80\x99s student facing and academic program web pages, flyers, and other materials.
Arrange and manage the Associate Dean\xe2\x80\x99s and Director\xe2\x80\x99s travel including originating Travel Authorization forms, making travel arrangements, completing conference registrations, submitting reimbursement forms, etc.
Plan and implement pre-nursing, undergraduate and graduate nursing retention events, activities, and targeted communication efforts.

Academic Programs Project Coordination
Coordinate academic program team calendars, ensure projects are progressing and provide updates and reminders.
Assist with quality improvement efforts within the academic program team.
Implement and manage various academic program databases (student, faculty, and other records).
Provide updated reports and information from databases.
Provided support to CON accreditation and reporting, including surveying various stakeholders.

Required Qualifications \xe2\x80\x93 Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or progressively responsible administrative work experience with an emphasis on customer service in a main office setting or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
Demonstrated experience designing, writing, editing, and formatting professional documents such as reports, business correspondence, spreadsheets, and brochures.
Demonstrated experience in customer service for a diverse group of customers, i.e., internal, and external customers, students, etc.
Demonstrated competence using personal computers and various software such as word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation, electronic calendar, and email (such as Microsoft Office Suite, Internet).

Preferred Qualifications \xe2\x80\x93 Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills
Experience in a \xe2\x80\x9cfirst point of contact\xe2\x80\x9d role (e.g., answering phone calls, handling, and directing walk-in traffic, directing a diverse group of constituents to appropriate information sources).
Demonstrated experience in following an organization\xe2\x80\x99s procedures and policies.
Demonstrated experience updating and maintaining web pages.
Demonstrated experience in maintaining confidentiality of highly sensitive information.

The Successful Candidate Will
Possess the ability to work collaborative with college, university, and community constituencies.
Possess the ability to represent the Mark & Robyn Jones College of Nursing in a positive and professional manner via all forms of communication.
Demonstrated competence effectively interpreting and communicating detailed information, procedures, and directions clearly and accurately, in person, by telephone, and through business correspondence to a widehic variety of individuals both internal and external to the organization.
Demonstrated competence organizing and prioritizing multiple work assignments, meeting deadlines, and exercising adaptability to changing priorities while maintaining a positive, effective, and professional attitude.
