Job Summary:

Empire Auto Parts, a leading aftermarket collision auto parts company, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Recruiting Coordinator to support the recruiters in their talent acquisition efforts. In this role, you will play a vital role in coordinating and managing the recruitment process, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for both candidates and internal stakeholders. The Recruiting Coordinator will collaborate closely with the recruitment team to identify, attract, and onboard top talent for various positions within the company.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Candidate Management:

  • Assist recruiters in sourcing, screening, and evaluating candidates for open positions.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, including video and in-person interviews, ensuring all necessary logistics are in place.
  • Maintain candidate data and records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) accurately and efficiently.
  • Facilitate communication between candidates and recruiters throughout the hiring process, providing timely updates and feedback.
Job Posting and Advertising:
  • Draft compelling job descriptions and post them on relevant job boards, company website, and other appropriate channels.
  • Monitor and manage job postings to ensure they remain up-to-date and attract a high volume of qualified applicants.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement innovative strategies for attracting top talent.
Recruitment Process Coordination:
  • Coordinate and organize recruitment events, such as job fairs and career expos, to engage with potential candidates.
  • Arrange travel and accommodations for out-of-town candidates, as necessary.
  • Assist with background checks, reference checks, and other pre-employment screening processes.
  • Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, and other relevant documentation for successful candidates.
Onboarding and Orientation:
  • Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
  • Prepare new hire paperwork, conduct pre-employment orientation sessions, and assist with the completion of necessary forms.
  • Coordinate training schedules and logistics for new employees, ensuring a seamless transition into their roles.
Reporting and Metrics:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment data, generating reports and metrics to track the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
  • Provide regular updates to the recruitment team on candidate pipeline, recruitment activities, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a recruiting coordinator or in a similar administrative role, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Travel Requirements:

On occasion for certain projects.
