Join our team as an Entry Level Recruiter. We are looking for a self-starting person who will head one of our most important roles, recruiting. In a high turnover industry, this is a crucial aspect of our business.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Collaborates with managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Place job ads through our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other resources
  • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
  • Conduct phone interviews, schedule interviews with managers based on their availability.
  • Oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Conducts background checks and is responsible for acquiring and tracking any clearances new hires may need.
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Attends weekly meetings and presents recruiting stats and statuses
  • Assist with administrative tasks
  • Answers and transfers inbound phone calls, screening when necessary.
  • Administer employment and personnel related information into HR program \xe2\x80\x93 new hire paperwork files, terminations, change of address, local tax jurisdiction etc.
  • Help promote and plan activities or events to boost company culture
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Prior recruiting, inside sales, administrative or phone experience preferred
  • Multi-tasking skills
  • Able to work well with management and administrative staff in an interactive and collaborative manner
