JOB DESCRIPTION

?Join our HR team in either Bridgeport, WV or Richmond VA and partner closely with hiring leaders and others in HR to develop and execute a cost-effective recruiting strategy consistent with our business goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

?In this role you will:

  • provide recruiting support for an assigned area of the organization and partner closely with field HR and business leadership to develop and execute a cost-effective recruiting strategy consistent with business goals.
  • meet with management to understand their staffing needs, business issues, and job requirements.
  • utilize numerous sourcing channels (internal and/or external) to develop an appropriate qualified and diverse candidate pool.
  • ensure all recruitment and selection efforts are consistent with all relevant policies and are fully compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
  • source, evaluate, and screen candidates; conduct phone interviews; work with Staffing Administrator to schedule face-to-face interviews and testing if applicable; work with field HR and hiring manager to develop appropriate offers and follow up with unsuccessful candidates.
  • ensure the maintenance of accurate and concise records and reports concerning all phases of the recruitment process.
  • work with field HR to coordinate various matters in relation to recruitment.
  • counsel hiring managers on issues such as recruiting trends, industry best practices, and diversity.
  • may be involved with relationship strategy and recruiting from colleges and universities, technical and vocational schools, military institutions, and job fairs.
  • may be involved with pre-employment testing processes, administration of relocation policy, and staffing systems requirements.
  • keep abreast of current practices related to recruiting and staffing.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3 years directly related knowledge and experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient personal computer skills and in-depth knowledge of Microsoft applications and applicant tracking system
  • Knowledge of company organizational structures
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting techniques, employment policies and procedures, and applicable regulations
  • Knowledge of company and HR policies, programs and information systems (SAP)
  • Critical thinking and decision making skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
Education
Bachelor (Typically four years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess a bachelor\'s degree.)

Preferred Degree
Business, Human Resources, or Liberal Arts

Preferred Licenses, Certifications, Qualifications or Standards
Prof. in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Prof. in Human Resources (SPHR)
