The Opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring seasonal Recreation Leads to join our team at Squire Resort at Grand Canyon in Tusayan, Arizona. As a Recreation Lead, you will support the team at Squire Resort at Grand Canyon in planning and coordinating activities for our guests.

Minimum pay rate: $13.85 / hour

Responsibilities

• Organize recreation activities for guests staying at the property.
• Assist and attend to any queries guests may have about their planned activities.
• Provide directions to local attractions within the National Park to guests.
• Maintain the proper sanitation and safety procedures in the working environment.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure guests are safe and receive high quality service.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous cash handling and POS experience required.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to operate audio Visual entertainment equipment
• Ability to read and follow maps required.
• Strong communication skills; ability to communicate with guests and co-workers in-person, and over the phone.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for entire length of shift.
• Ability to walk up and down stairs frequently.
• Frequent bending, reaching, climbing on step stools.
• Ability to work outside for mo
