The Opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is seeking seasonal Groundskeepers to join our team at Squire Resort at Grand Canyon in Tusayan, Arizona .

Minimum pay rate: $15.00 / hour

• Perform groundskeeping and building maintenance duties.
• Mow lawn either with push mower or using a riding lawnmower.
• Cut lawn using hand, power or riding mower and trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls.
• Landscape by planting flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes.
• Sweep walkway of debris.
• Install lawn furniture.
• Assist HR by moving/removing housing furniture and appliances as needed basics.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year previous experience in general maintenance/repair for commercial facility required.
• Must have a valid drivers license.

Physical Requirements

• Manual dexterity sufficient to use hand tools and to paint.
• Ability to stand, crouch, and climb to perform repairs, use ladders, and perform various types of manual labor.
• Ability to lift up to 85 pounds occasionally.
• Visual acuity sufficient for reading, performing repairs, and painting.
• Exposed to outdoor weather conditions in all seasons, including variable temperatures and wet and/or humid conditions.
• Occasionally exposed to fumes and toxic or caustic chemicals.
• Noise level may be moderate to high.
